About the house:
"This is just to say how much we enjoyed our week at Seilisdeir, in particular the many extra very thoughtful touches you had made (such as the bottle of wine - this was so much appreciated, a delightful surprise). In fact as a measure of how much we enjoyed it, we entirely forgot to alter our watches to summer time the first weekend, so went through the entire week blissfully unaware of the real time, only discovering our error when we only just made the ferry back on Saturday (indeed, only discovering our error - baffled as to why the ferry was leaving an hour early! - when we saw the clock on board and it finally dawned on us!) Holidays don't get much better than that.
Nothing to report on any shortcomings or lackings in the cottage - quite the contrary, it had everything one could wish for and more, a truly delightful place."
The Ball Family (and dog)

The McDonnells
About the area:
"We've had every season of the year during this week. Glorious sunshine, clear blue skies and turquoise seas on Monday…by Tuesday rain and sleet and the ferry for Oban had been cancelled as it was so windy."
The Ball Family
"We enjoyed a lovely walk to Grasspoint, we sat on the rocks for a couple of hours or so and we were rewarded as a seal swam by. A little later we had a number of sightings of otters as they came to the surface for a few seconds, then they would dive again, their tails flopping in behind them. As we were leaving we were lucky enough to see a school of porpoises splashing past."
Carol & John Horseman (& Yogi Bear - a very tired black lab!)
"We have enjoyed the beautiful location of this cottage and some outstanding weather. Two of us were sea kayakers and enjoyed trips from the cottage up to Duart and Torosay Castles and back…, others enjoyed sampling various tearooms and gardens. There is no matching the birdsong from the cottage."
The Wrights, Arrow (Border Collie) and the Wasses
"Where to start! We have seen so much and had fantastic weather. Swimming at Calgary Bay was beautiful. We saw a sea eagle at Grasspoint, Hen Harriers, Golden Eagles, otters at Craignure, seals and dolphins at Iona. I won't bore you all with the list, but we have seen over 60 different bird types and have just been amazed. I've never been anywhere so beautiful!"
The Horncy Family
"The coastline scenery is breathtaking. The red deer were in the garden - accommodation very well equipped - wildlife is in abundance. We saw golden Eagles, male hen harrier, herds of red deer, buzzards, heron and 2 Merganser ducks.
Gloria and the Girls (& Magic, Paterdale, Megan and Maisie - Border Puppies)
"Great weather and only one day of rain! We have seen so many birds……deer in the garden joining us at breakfast. Dogs loved the walks and taking a dip in the loch. The scenery around the island is stunning - white sands and clear blue sea."
The McDonnells and Chloe, Isla & Samson dogs
And finally……… if you do run out of things to do - here's a challenge for you:
"I buried my little brother somewhere around here, and can't remember where. Sorry."
