1. Letting - The house will sleep up to 7 people plus babies. We need to know the names and ages (if under 25) of all party members before a booking will be accepted. The person making the booking undertakes responsibility for the party and any dogs occupying the property. No one other than those advised to us must stay in the property. Letting is from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise agreed by us. We will expect you from 3.30pm on your day of arrival, and we ask that you leave the property by 10.00am on your morning of departure. These times can sometimes be altered by prior arrangement.
2. Deposit - A 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival date must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
3. Balance of Rental - The balance is payable 6 weeks before arrival date. We do not send out reminders as a matter of course, however, an email reminder can be sent if you specifically ask us to. If the balance is not received then we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
4. Payment - Payment will be accepted by cheque payable to "Christina Dray", or by bank transfer directly into our bank account. Details will be provided at the time of booking.
5. Cancellations - All cancellations must be advised to us as soon as possible by telephone or email, and confirmed in writing within 7 days. We recommend that you take out some form of holiday cancellation insurance to protect yourselves. We will do our utmost to re-let the property however, if you cancel within six weeks of the arrival date and we are unable to re-let, then no payments will be refunded.
6. Smoking - There is a strict "No Smoking" policy in the house. If you must smoke in the garden then please do not leave cigarette butts lying around as children visit the property and will play in the garden.
7. Pets - Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. There is no additional charge. Please do not leave a dog in the house on its own or let them into the bedrooms or on the furniture. The floors are wooden, so you might like to bring your dog's bedding with you. Please do not allow your dogs to mess in the garden - for the same reason as above, we have children staying at the property and do not wish to present a health hazard to them.
8. Liability – We accept no liability for any loss or damage to your possessions, nor any accident or injury which you may suffer, either in the house or the garden.
9. Damage/Breakages – Please notify us of any damage or breakages either within the house or outside in the garden.
10. Non-availability of Property – If, for any reason beyond our control, the property is unavailable on your arrival date (e.g. due to fire damage, flooding, etc) or if the property becomes unsuitable for holiday letting, then we will refund in full all monies paid. We will advise you of any such event as soon as it happens to enable you to make alternative arrangements.
